For example this blazer is very green and is a pretty out there color for me to wear so I started with plain black high wasted trousers and a white button up to simplify the decision. The black contrasts nicely with the green and the white offers a neutral base for the tie. This was the difficult part. I could not find any ties that had a secondary color similar to the green so I went with an olive brown colored tie.
