There are growing concerns about Metallicus, a company associated with Proton XPR, allegedly mirroring the business practices of FTX, Celsius, and BlockFi, which collapsed after being exposed for fraudulent activities. Critics accuse Metallicus of offering unsustainably high APYs and using customer funds for employee payroll and other purposes. Meanwhile, Ripple and XRP seem to be distancing themselves from Metallicus, with some pointing to Ripple's ethics and lack of blocking critical voices.
