"Here's why I personally would not compare bitcoin to tulips (no matter how bad the selloff). Tulips rose and collapsed in like 3yrs. Punched once in face and KO'd. "Wrote a note about how @BillAckman would be better served in an ETF over a CEF which will likely be plagued by premiums/discounts (like the one in Europe) which investors in US have shown they don't like. In the end it's personal choice but ETFs solve a lot of problems and reach widest poss audience a la Tom Lee Dan Ives Rick Rieder who all launched ETFs past two years and found instant and ongoing success. Proof ETF mkt hungry for Ackman's strategy is the launch of $ACKY which is 13F holdings"

I'd almost go as far as to say much of the rest of the industry is more like socialism (MFs living off bull mkt subsidy HFs getting tax payer subsidized endowment money etc). And the latter is why they have tough time competing w the former"
