"As I understand it the shutdown could affect the $LTC ETF approval because the @SECGov still needs to sign off on the S-1 and the agency is operating on a skeleton crew. Its unclear what remaining staff is working/what their priorities are at the moment. If we can tokenize an ETF we can have investors who are just beginning to invest in markets through lets say crypto but now we can get them into the more traditional long-term retirement products. So we look at that as the next wave of opportunity for BlackRock over the next tens of years as we start moving away from traditional financial assets by repotting them in a digital manner"
