"$CPRT $RBA: I attempted to estimate CPRT and IAA market shares assuming the entire US salvage vehicle market consists solely of these two companies. I expected it would show a consistent uptrend for IAA but I do see it in my data. But the data does confirm two things. 1) RBA claimed in their Q3 conference call that IAA gained market share Y-o-Y; 2) CPRT/IAA US market share is about a 65/35 split - I remember I read or heard it somewhere but can't recall where. If you have better data or better estimates please reply here or DM me. TIA"
