"Respectfully I disagree. Draft boards from NFL scouting departments are not formulated with any "win now" mentality. The scout & front office rank players based on the players talent/upside/internal make-up/fit/ect. If they had JSN rated higher than McDonald they would have drafted JSN. They didn't. Now you can like JSN as a prospect more - that is fine. personally I liked JSN better as an NFL prospect too - but I don't think Will McD was a bad or wrong choice Roster construction through the Draft is always done with a longer view lens than with a short one"
