"Well - I am not in touch with the serve and protect agencies in Winston Salem who actually make those calls min by min and work with NASCAR. It's a damned if you do damned if you don't deal. Social media is all over both sides. That is kind of why I asked for folks who actually had tickets and were planning to go to reply. I don't know the repercussions of cancelling but I can tell you from what I am hearing "come hell or high snow" they plan to get the race in. There are people who made plans and were excited about going - some like you maybe not so much. So that does affect thoughts on it."
