"I think this is a narrow view of manufacturing. Export led growth is one model but not the only path. China didnt start by exporting it built internal capacity scaled domestic demand and leveraged that scale to compete globally. Nigerias 200plus million population is already a viable market to industrialize around. The key isnt exporting immediately its replacing imports strengthening local value chains and building productivity that eventually earns us foreign exchange. Domestic manufacturing can lift people out of poverty if its tied to jobs skills and infrastructure."
