"Difficult to pinpoint as this market turns on the drop of a dime these days. Could take anywhere from 1-3 weeks for the dust to settle. Or once China-US tension ease. Trump speaks at 3pm. "$SPX $SPY $ES_F 🟡 Inverted Chart Food for thought. Wanted to invert the US500 Futures chart to apply EWT and establish an ABC corrective count to track. This is not guaranteed but rather another technical instance to consider moving forward so we are never caught off guard. Preparing for every possibility keeps our emotions in check. "Lots of uncertainty in the air at this time surrounding the deal. The rate cut is assured. Much of the risk-off action seen today was secondary to disinflationary + recessionary concerns with banks taking a majority of the beating index wise. Small caps also getting drained with a false breakout of IWM. My thinking that the market is irrational and needs any reason for CTAs to unwind and readjust prior to letting it go again. The sell off likely continues for another X weeks and the rate cut + trade deal if it comes can be the catalyst to bring us out of the trenches"

"Everyone has their own preference on how much and where to trim. No golden rule I find but its a good strategy to. Typically I trim around my Minor Wave X target which lines up with 50-100% ROI on average. I then keep the rest of the shares if its a long-term hold. "$RIVN is a winner long-term no doubt. Once it gets that base breakout theres no looking back I feel. Thats when I plan to enter. I see the vehicles commonly on the road nowadays. The new models look sleek. Being the 2nd most recognizable EV brand in North America goes a long way. Relative to the revenue + growth they project and the explosive scaling they will undergo 2-3 years from now their valuation is quite low. Very similar to buying $TSLA in 2015-2016 at this stage.
