"I had an oncology appointment and the doctor is going to put me on chemo again -- a drug called Afinitor. It's a pill. He says it won't aggravate my cirrhosis but it can give me mouth sores so I have to rinse my mouth three times a day with a steroid to prevent the sores. I have "lots and lots" of lesions on my bones that are inactive but numerous so he wants to stay on top of it. Afinitor blocks a certain protein that helps cancer cells grow and divide. It also reduces blood supply to the tumors. There's no co-pay with my insurance so that's good. Thanks for prayers"
