"The Teryl Austin is a yes man or Tomlin runs the defense narratives are just lazy. Yes the foundation of the defense is Tomlin but if you really think Austin just sits in his office & does nothing for game planning doesnt control adjustments playcalling etc - then your hate for Tomlin is blinding. Austin still has a big part in the failures of the defense - he isnt good at the job. However the defenses foundation (Tomlins part) has its major flaws. Tomlin needs to hire a DC that is creative understanding of the times & just trust a coordinator with the defense. If he doesnt understand that"
