"In one of the worst "news" pieces I have seen in a while @nytimes reporters @vimalnyt @sharonNYT and @migold penned a piece tonight in which they falsely accused @RepStefanik of "inaccurately suggesting that CAIR had been a 'co-conspirator in a terrorist financing case.in a case against a charity." CAIR WAS classified by prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case against the "charity" (the Holy Land Foundation) whose leaders were convicted of funneling money to Hamas. Outside of the case two federal courts actually ruled on the issue both specifically finding that there was"
