"I agree with most of this with one small clarification. Ordinals dont pretend to be fully on-chain. They are fully on-chain within Bitcoins block constraints. Since the manifesto is about permanence its worth noting that Ordinals currently represent the strongest cryptographic permanence primitive available. They remove many of the coordination dependencies the post is trying to standardize around. Thats why the phrasing stood out to me. Especially given Ledgers long standing emphasis on self-custody and minimizing trust. Ordinals are philosophically very aligned with that ethos."
