"#ASPIgang Based off my electricity supply writeup there are only a few options to solve the supply problem. Due to lead times permitting etc. the grid buildout will take too long. Behind the meter is the solution of choice. This speeds up the process no grid to contend with and wait for. BTM options are BESS (still grid dependent to charge) and GAS or Nuclear. These have smaller footprints eliminate the grid and transformer issues (BESS is the exception) but permitting is still a problem while the process is being shortened for faster delivery. After repair aging underground HV cables suffered cascading failures over a few weeks period as other sections got repaired. In all likelihood this is what damaged the Laser unit.
