The best course forward is proper regulation so that consumers can know exactly what they're getting and that it's free from impurities. In regard to the smell and such. "That's true but the premium hikes are not organic. Insurers were forced by government mandate to cover people they know can't/won't pay in. The only reason it's not technically a tax is because it doesn't pass through government hands. Maybe "backdoor tax" would be a more accurate description"
