"What baffles me is how certain fintwit punters remain that the judge made the 'wrong' decision on $SAVE and that the case was objectively a slam dunk decision the other way. There is so much hubris and lack of self reflection. Smart lawyers were on opposite sides of the argument. Even non involved legal experts had conflicting views but the fintwit punters are certain that the judges are 'only human' and made a 'mistake'. "IBKR is a #2 shareholder with 8.54%. I'm a tiny portion of that. This is a basket size position not a high conviction bet. Rarely do you see IBKR as such a high %. Hikari Tsushin can't be excited about core biz but they prob would love to get that cash to invest. Maybe something like what they did with 3770 (stock for stock buyout) but problem with that thinking is 3770 was capital light and way less employees. So not sure that's in the cards here. Also no clear path of 50%+ holding for htem like had with 3770"
