"You can essentially track all L1 on-chain addresses. So for example if you send to a different L1 hot wallet then your cold storage the swap service can just follow the original address outputs. So I don't think it helps much. Personally this is why I prefer to use Manna on the other side of your cold storage. Send from cold storage to Manna to spend it. The government and anyone willing to buy or hack your data already knows you bought it. So holding it in cold storage vs losing it in a boating accident is the same to them. Using it going in and going out is definitely best but I think it's"
