"Not a counter post but just my personal experiences which might help people in India to make a decision if to shift to US. 1) The houses don't get dusty frequently in US thus decreasing the need of domestic help hugely. While in India we still spent time on chores despite having a maid. 2) Digital convenience for sure is better in India. But it has never been an impediment in the US and won't slow down anything. 3) Socializing with non-browns is hard if you can't connect with their culture.
