"Fantastic summary here. As it stands the most leveraged game in town is doing the most intelligent things. $NE Noble paying a dividend is suboptimal (buyback stock) and $VAL Valaris has been stacking cash rather than buyback their stock to do a deal Where they would have to pay with a significant amount of stock therefore you end up paying a much higher price down the road. This is the detriment to being an industry that needs recapitalized. I still like $VAL long term but this lull is making the majority of the industry do strange things"
