"Sweetie Pie hasnt been having much luck with people coming in to meet her. She has until 10/30. She is looking for a patient understanding family with either a shy dog who wont initially be that interested in her unless she approaches and instigates play or no dogs and no cats. She has lived with kids 8-10. She is shy and scared of strangers (bark and flees) but warms up quickly to women takes a bit longer with men. She is potty trained and lived in a foster home for months before they went back to the mainland she did great left alone inside. When shes comfortable she loves the kiddy pool"

"Usher came to Maui Humane Society with over XX dogs back in April. He now needs to be adopted by 10/30. Nobody has taken Usher home in over X months. He hasnt left the shelter. Usher loves food and is shy with new people and in new places. Hes done good with female dogs and hasnt met a lot of male dogs so we dont have a ton of background about how he is with male dogs. Usher now walks well on leash. He is still scared of loud noises and getting used to car rides. "Replying to @wethepeoplepartypatriot Bridget had a very long meet and greet with X dogs. We did a pack walk down her favorite road then reconvened in the big yard. She did well with all of them. She was especially taken with one of the girls the one she went in the car with. Shes in trial adoption now so 🤞🤞 shes got lots of land to explore with her new family and seems to be doing great. Our fingers and toes are crossed this works out.
