"When I was pre-licensed I was working at a PHP a group practice and a residential facility all at the same time. On weekends I photographed weddings to pay off my student loans. I was exhausted driving over an hour each way and trying to act like I had it all together. Supervision helped with clinical questions but it didnt prepare me for private practice. It didnt teach me how to network how to talk to doctors or referral sources how intake systems worked or how to think like a business owner. And it definitely didnt help me figure out how to build something for the future while surviving"
