I ended up sitting in front of the washer then the dryer just so she could see they were okay the whole time and she wouldnt try to grab them. "Before Rosie was diagnosed with catatonia she went through so muchCT scan EEG spinal tap and multiple hospital stays while doctors searched for answers. Catatonia can make her freeze repeat movements or completely shut down. Her doctors tried an Ativan trial which sometimes brought her back for a moment but it wasnt a long-term fix. I share this because autism and catatonia are so misunderstood.
