Start your day with a lovely coffee and a pastry in Dean village for breakfast in one of the many fabulous bakeries and coffee shops. Have a stroll through Circus Lane and soak in the rich history. It is also a great area to go thrift shopping in all of the wonderful Charity shops. . . "This is the route that I find best to show family and friends when they visit Edinburgh for a day. Walking time will only be a couple of hours however when you factor in stops to take it all in take coffee breaks and stop for food it will take 5-6 hours at least Along the way you will find many more points of interest that I couldn't fit in.
