Wildwood NJ has very clear rules: no pets on the boardwalk or most beaches with only service animals (dogs or miniature horses as defined under the ADA) permitted. Ive personally been stopped by boardwalk police multiple times with my service dog and asked the two legal ADA questions which is exactly how it should be. * But recently Ive seen videos of someone walking a wolf on the boardwalk. This is not only a violation of Wildwoods policies but also of New Jersey law where owning a wolf is illegal unless you are a zoo or sanctuary."

I had just come straight from working with a client who has a reactive dog and since were still in the very beginning stages of training I dont bring my dogs along when Im focusing on my clients sessions. So when I stopped at ShopRite it was just supposed to be a quick trip to grab something and leave. When I walked in though I immediately saw an emotional support dog. I say not friendly because it is the fastest and most effective way to get another dog and handler to move away without thinking twice. When a dog approaches too quickly or too intensely my priority is keeping my working dog safe period.
