"You Can't Isolate the Gluteus Medius from the Gluteus Minimus. They're pretty similar in terms of their location/angles on the pelvis and probably the totality of their fiber directions as well. I definitely think we should be doing a variety of abduction exercises to maximize glute medius and minimum hypertrophy but I don't think anyone at this point can say with certainty that one exercise will preferentially grow one over the other. This is why you don't hear me saying do this exercise for the glute medius and this exercise for the glute minimus. Just do a couple of standing or bridged"

"What is proper hip thrust form Just as in the case of squats deadlifts leg press and lunges it depends. On your goals. On your anatomy. On your logistics. Etc. Beware of the person that says there's only one way to do a particular lift. It's a dead ringer that they're a fake internet trainer. Don't tell me that the scoop is dangerous. I invented the hip thrust. Trained 2000 clients in the past XX years with it. Do it myself every single week. Wrote the book on hip thrust form. Then rewrote it. Then rewrote it again. Posterior pelvic tilt at the top of a hip thrust is natural and safe. And"

"Glute Medius Hip Thrust vs. Glute Medius Kickback The two best for strengthening and growing the middle glute medius fibers. I think it's more productive to work the glute medius via the grounded leg in a close chain fashion compared to via the free leg in an open chain fashion"

"Just crawl out of bed and unlock your glutes two times per week. No big deal "Unlocking" is the new buzzword I've been seeing lately usually from physical therapists that so badly want to be personal trainers and strength coaches that they start telling people that stretching is more important than lifting for hypertrophy. It's not. Yes it's good to do. But it won't prevent the fact that you'll need to get very strong at the basics if you want to build a booty. Squats. Thrusts. Deadlifts. Lunges. XX Hypers. Leg Press. Step Ups. Bridges. Split Squats. Good Mornings. #fypage #glutegrowth"

"Babies have great squat mechanics due to their anatomy and anthropometry. Larger heads smaller legs shallower hip sockets etc. This is a fun adorable video but also a good chance to talk about how form influences function. #fypage #glutegrowth #trainertips #trainerreacts"

"Scoop is better for back pain. That's actually how it came to be in 2015. We were experiencing a back pain epidemic with hip thrusts because people were developing hyperextension related back pain from hinging. They'd take their sets too far and inevitably end up anteriorly tilting their pelvises and overarching the lumbar spines. The scoop solved this problem overnight. Literally. People don't know the history behind this movement and they haven't worked enough clients with both variations. The hinge is great in theory. But you have to develop discipline and understand segmental lumbar"

"Glute circuits don't make much sense to me because they'll produce general systemic aerobic gains but not local gluteal hypertrophic gains. You could get the same cardiovascular gains doing anything similarly challenging. Methinks people would do these for the glute gains not realizing that you wouldn't be creating a growth stimulus. But these exercises are all fire #fypage #glutegrowth #trainertips #trainerreacts"
