"Why I don't pull flowers Half the questions on this forum are about pulling flowers. I think the view is that the plant won't grow if it's putting energy into fruit. Here's my counter evidence. I got the first fruit growing a month or so ago they're all going ripe above that the plant kept on growing and now there's around [---] pods starting to swell. "SRPS will they ever swell I've grown chillies for years but this is my first sugar rush peach stripy. It's put up loads of flowers over the last few weeks a lot of them have pollinated but none of them seem to be swelling. They're not going brown they're not dropping they just seem to be staying at this size. This one pollinated and dropped it's flower over a week ago.
