My second favorite thing about the Nikkor 50mm is its form factor. Ive found that Im much more likely to carry my camera consistently the smaller the package. "Fresnel Glass Repair I recently used duster on my ground glass for the Nikon f2. The result was an oil slick appearance on the glass. The next boneheaded step I took was to apply dawn dish shop the. Scrub if. As one might imagine the end result was water and soap seeping between the two glass elements. The ground glass is now much dimmer than it had been previously. "Sold my M6 for. After about a year with my Leica M6 I decided to sell it and purchase another Nikon F2 from Japan with a DE-1 playing prism. And boy I couldnt be happier while I did enjoy the life system. I much prefer the SLR shooting experience and the lens options compared to Leica tax associated with all glass for the system. I was able to part with my Leica for $3400. If I were to get back into the system it would be for an M2 but the price would have to be right.
