"What is your favorite peak 90s action film Thinking like classic Don Simpson/Jerry Bruckheimer filmspersonally The Rock always rises to the top but Crimson Tide and Speed are also in heavy rotation when Im feeling this genre. Something about the pacing camera movement tight storytelling and a pretty consistent rotation of actors always makes this era and genre of movie stand out to me with the benefit of hindsight. No theyre not particularly smart or compelling in the traditional film sense but in an age where everything is franchised its interesting to look back to an era when popcorn movies"
