"Simple tax question Ok so I know for a fact that at moment you swap let's say Bitcoin to USDC and it turns out on a gain that becomes a taxable event on the gains. My question is: If I then wait some time to buy the dip on BTC with that same amount of profit I made (the BTC I swapped to USDC) would that be considered a way of deducting taxes just like when you buy let's say a car for your bussiness/job with the gains you made in order to deduct some percentage of that profit (and therefore paying less in taxes) EDIT: I appreciate the great responses folks.
