"I think I've just seen a Wilson's Warbler in my yard is this an appropriate ID I've never seen one in my yard. We get plenty of lesser goldfinches but they are all a pale yellow with a more extensive black cap. The bird I saw was a bright smooth yellow with a very distinctive small black cap which I identified as a Wilson's warbler. I was birding in a park in Tokyo when I saw a female common kingfisher perched on a branch and began observing it.
