"Ryobi 5Ah HP battery teardown I disassembled a 5Ah battery to harvest its cells for use in other applications. And there is tons of good news about it and one bad one. First off build quality is pristine. Chefs kiss The cells are enclosed dampened and fastened to avoid disturbing the spot welds of the nickel. This makes the battery last long and endure heavy use. The nickel strips are a combo og nickel and copper. Seems like 0.10mm nickel and 0.10mm copper. Measured resistance indicates this as well. This is very good.
