For a low dosage it's surprisingly smooth it could be some bottle aging with a disgorgement date of 9/2021. Golden in color scents of brioche. "2011 L'Ermitage Roederer Estate Took a little bit of a chance picking this up recently. I wasn't sure how this was stored but it turned out to be pretty delicious. Toasty with vanilla on the nose reduced caramel on the pallette. This wine did need to breathe a little to get the full taste. This is listed as a white blend on the bottle and from what I can find this is a Chardonnay and Pinot Nior blend. Immediately you get floral aromas and in the glass it's a golden color with a slight green hue. There is also a steady stream of fine bubbles. On the pallete you get lemon zest and white flower. As soon as you pop the bottle there are nice toasty aromas and in the glass there's just a hint of a pink hue. On the pallette you get the vibrant roundness of a west coast Pinot Noir. Deep golden in color with a hint of pink. The aromas in the glass were mostly nutty with some pear and reduced apple. "B Chardonnay Moussex I picked this up on a recent trip to Quebec at IGA. From what I understand B is just a labeling program so I don't know too much about who made this wine. According to the label it's made with 100% Canadian Chardonnay with an inspired touch of Icewine which explains why this wine is sweet. On the nose there's slight petrol with herbal notes. On the pallete not much complexity a short sweet finish. Very round for a Chardonnay. The sweetness made a nice pairing with some all dressed chips. Not as sweet as an Asti and also better made. Disgorged 06/2020 this is a blend of 44% Pinot Noir (14% of which is red wine) 35% Chardonnay and 21% Pinot Meunier. In the glass it's redish orange a fine stream of bubbles keeps flowing for an hour after popping the bottle. Aromas are blood orange Brioche and vanilla bean. As it opens up you'll get some hints of a leather smell. On the pallete the blood orange is up front along with nectarine strawberries and some faint lime. Great tannin full bodied deep and round. Very inviting for a wine with a low"
