I finally decided to move on from my Junghans Max Bill chrono and upgrade to this. I still very much like Junghans design language but I was not really wearing it. "Grand Seiko two new limited edition releases. Thoughts Theyre both red dial (almost brick colored) which is not a very common color for Grand Seiko (in my experience). The first one is the SBGY035 which utilizes caliber 9R31. I love this movement super thin manual wind extremely accurate PR on back great finishing spring drive. Its the same design as SBGY007 (Omiwatari) but with a dial change. The second is SBGA499 and looks like their more traditional sports watch on a bracelet. "Horage Supersede Dual Time Horage released their third and final iteration of the Supersede today with this new caller-GMT (aka Dual Time) with very cool blue jeans dial. I know many are unfamiliar with the brand but they do some interesting stuff. Theyre Swiss and Id say their MO is bringing higher priced horology to less expensive range (emphasis on them still being far from cheap). "Glasshtte Original Sea Q (plus a bonus green B09) I just picked up this new SeaQ and its incredible. Ive wanted the SeaQ forever but it always drove me nuts that the 39mm had a closed caseback. Now normally Im ok with closed casebacks especially on a diver but GO decorates the movement so beautifully (Geneva striping double snailing polished regulator pin) and they use an exhibition caseback for the 43mm pano SeaQ. Almost no one will know this company. Theyre a very small shop in Hamburg that only makes 100-150 watches a year. Made-to-order so to speak.
