"Can't connect to my PC Edit: i have an artist pro [--] (2nd gen) I have a [--] screen set up with a GeForce RTX [----] graphics card. I dont have any usb c ports so using a USB-C adapter to plug into my USB-A ports. I've tried multiple USB cables. Tried plugging it into my Wife's laptop And everything else i can think of. It's going to take a really long time to hand sand it so did some research on using abrasive powder. The videos I found tended to be either not using the right materials so failed badly or didn't really have any definitive conclusions. "The rear hangar extensions arrived and test fit. As the title says the rear hangars are now test fitted. I need to do a little tweaking to them mainly minor adjustments to the left side before bolting and welding. The more observant of you will notice the front wheels are now on the right way so it's no longer as twitchy with the Anti-Ackerman steering (I think the OG owner screwed up when it was assembled). "Recumbent rebuild getting closer to completion. I spent a couple days this week getting the hangar extensions fitted and getting everything aligned. "ERider T-10 torque sensor I'm having issues with the torque sensor not working. I'm getting a signal from the direction and speed sensors but the torque output is staying at a flat 1.511v. We've tried varying the position of the datum point where the cable comes out in relation to the frame altering the position laterally in the bottom bracket and tbh everything else we can think of. "A year ago I started to convert this recumbent to electric to use as my daily commute. There have been a fair few set backs and some unfortunate delays (work paid for the conversion so customer jobs understandably came first). "Rear light mount updated. The 1st version mounted fine but with slight pressure it snapped. There were definitely things I should have done. For the uninitiated when a 3D printer lays down layers they don't perfectly bond so will always be a weak point. So this if V2 the front and back sections are separate so they can be printed laid down so layer lines will be top to bottom not side to side. This also adds the ability to make it adjustable. I'm trying to design an electric quad with the driver position and steering at the front as normal and a cargo box at the back. "Sneaky peek at my recumbent conversion upgrade. After an incident with a bus running me off the road I broke a spoke on my 26" wheel so gone back to a 20" wheel. It looks like the ground clearance is going to be fine with the Dutch Perfect tyre there's only 5cm (2") difference with the comparative radius. Keeping the wheel in the extensions means I can keep the speed sensor where it is rather than creating a completely new bracket for it. I've since tightened everything had a quick sit on. "List help I genuinely can't decide Ok so I've made list after list for an upcoming 1k list. I'm used to 2k lists which isn't helpful. I'm bouncing between a small list like 1-2 stormsurges a couple ethereals and a commander in a suit to running a stealth/crisis suit focused list. I just cannot make a firm decision and it's doing my head in. My current list of models available: 3x Hammerhead tanks. 9x crisis suits. 12x stealth suits. 1x supremacy suit. 20x fire Warriors (roughly). 3x broadside suits. 1x commander in enforcer/coldstar suit. It'll be my first game with Tau (experienced 40k"

"Rear mudguard redesign. The downside of customising my trike is the lack of commercially available parts that'll fit. The upside is I can design/print my own stuff. This is 3/8 of the rear mudguard. I'll attach 4-6mm threaded rods to my pannier rack and (hopefully) then attach them to the mudguard via the slots on the side. The slots will be strengthened with 1mm sheet aluminium and the entire thing is going to get at least [--] coats of fibreglass to waterproof and strengthen it. The side slots may not work but I have a plan B that will be an easy work around just in case. recumbent recumbent"

"First game that led to a shameful defeat. Well the title says it all. In their eagerness my Stealth suits infiltrated too far into no man's land before the battle was joined allowing the despicable Genestealer Cult to catch them unawares. Turn [--] saw the 2x [--] man squads decimated before they managed to get a shot off in defence. The end of turn [--] left my troops trying to regroup and maintain their lines while my strategic reserves arrived. After the enemy maneuvered into position I managed to pull the remaining pathfinders back into a better position to start spotting for my broadsides. A unit"

"How many spotters are too many and Pathfinders vs stealth suits. I'm currently having an argument with a mate about the number of spotters is best in a 1k points list. Basically I'm looking at taking [--] units of Pathfinders with 3x Ion Rifles and Recon Drones. The idea is to infiltrated them into [--] buildings on the 1st or 2nd floor so they can spot and shoot out of windows. This has the added benefit of spreading units out to create deep strike denial zones. On paper Pathfinders have better potential shots per unit than units of [--] Stealth suits and obviously more models to soak casualties"

"Question for the veteran players among us. I mainly played back in the heady days of 3rd ed where a game was decided on who had the most left on the table at the end. "Starscythes and melee More than anything I want to check this is legal or a good tactic. The disastrous game I had on Saturday after my Stealth suits got obliterated my Starscythe units ended up being forced into melee. In older editions if you disengaged from combat there were consequences (free hit etc) but I gather in 10th ed you fall back and aren't eligible to shoot charge etc that turn unless you have other effects on the unit. So here's what I did with my Starscythe units. I disengaged moved them the maximum 10" then fired on the unit it was recently in melee with. I checked the rules"

"10th ed "Unending Horde" scenario. I've seen games in previous editions where Defenders were at one end of the board in dug in/static positions and a horde army (like Tyranids/Guard) started at the other end of the board. I know of the Unending Swarm rules for 'nids but I'm trying to set up a game with GSC and AM acting as the Horde against my Tau dug in as the defenders. Are there current rules for non-Tyranid armies or is it a "home brew" situation Basically the Guard regiment has fallen under the sway of the GSC and the heroic Tau has come to save the day for the greater good My"
