I managed to pick them up for [---] which I am pretty content with I picked up this pair of vintage Highgroves from Churchs and I must say that I am very pleased with them. "First impression of Churchs Matlocks First off: I know not everyone is keen on the more fashionable Churchs models but this pair was bought for [--] to be worn daily/more often. Ive always been a big fan of Churchs. I know theyre not always looked upon favourably but I think they still make a good shoe if you know what youre looking for. Especially when you look at models like the Consul Diplomat or Grafton. That being said this pair of Matlocks is definitely not as classic as those. It has a rubber sole with bright colours. It is goodyear welted and made in England and the leather is not"

My fear is that it is a burn mark since I used a flame to burn away roughened nap. I tried using omninettoyant followed by brushing but the stain did not go away. I know it may not have been the smartest move but a mini dot of shoe creme also didnt work to disguise it. What do I do now I fear the shoecream exacerbated the stain by clogging the nap but I already tried to wash it out. Is my only chance a cobbler Or do I"

"Crockett & Jones Conistons: a [--] project. (before in picture 5) I picked up a pair of beat up C&J tan scotch grain Conistons for [--] so I decided to make them into a little restoration project. Im not a big tan fan so I made them a little darker. I cleaned these up with a damp cloth applied renovateur and let it sit for a few hours. Afterwards I conditioned these with Saphirs no [--] black shoe crme and I polished them up with neutral pate de luxe. The result is astonishing and way more my style. "1250 charity shop find: Carmina suede dainite derbys Went to the charity shop today and I always check the shoe shelves for GYW shoes. Surprisingly I found these almost unworn suede Carmina derbys in my size and thus they came home with me. I didnt quite like the light colour on them so I decided to try to dye them a little. Seeing they were basically unused (the suede is as soft as new suede) I used a natural rubber brush to clean them used a suede eraser on some spots and brushed the nap back up. I then followed up with some dark brown suede renovateur spray by Saphir which worked"
