They are all finished now and working out what to do with them still love the idea of a show called where the land meets the sea I love the way a painted photograph is itself a captured moment in time. But kinda dead yet when you throw paint at it it feels risky and more alive yet all the paint is just still more frozen moments but all the paint contains the energy of the throwing."

I wanted them to feel like they exist on the edge of real and imaginary and have an element of entropy I want you to feel that while the buildings are growing they could equally fall down. Its hard to have belief today and we would rather believe in a Disney animation than our own human relationships and thats what Ive tried to touch on where I used the bright colours and soft paint I want these paintings to be very much a part of the history and tradition of watercolour paintings.
