"Thing is as a YEC I dont believe that creation is a tertiary doctrine. Its fundamental to Christs identity and the gospel. The Bible says He created the universe in X literal days. It also says mankinds sin preceded death. Billions of years puts death before sin thereby making Christs death and resurrection meaningless and it either leads people to believe in a false Christ who created the world through billions of years or it leads them to view Gods word as a fairy tale or a lie. Young Earth Creationism is primary doctrine"
