"You seem to not be understanding what happened here. Equal time is an old law only applies to "bona fide" news broadcasting. There are exemptions for late-night shows talk radio and similar formats. Again as a conservative I don't even think the FCC should exist. Keep that in mind. Brendan Carr chair of the FCC is actively trying to make the equal-time law apply to more things - selectively - meaning late-night shows and daytime shows that lean liberal. He has explicitly said he is not going to apply the same policy changes or warnings to talk radio even though it falls under the exact same"
