"Spoke with someone today about the JMI NIL situation and here's how I was told to think about it. At most schools in-house collectives dont block private collectives from giving additional NIL deals. That means athletes stack income. Example: UK offers $2.5M. Another school offers $2M plus outside NIL opportunities = $34M+ total. So yes UK can claim the highest offer But the total earning potential is lower because JMI/UK blocks other avenues.
