"$SGOV $VGUS $VUSXX are all exempt from state and local tax. I live in a high income tax state (OR) so that makes the most sense for me. The downside is its not FDIC insured. But its still pretty safe. Ultimately its not going to move the needle much unless you are sitting on a lot of cash"
