"$THEON buying XX% stake in $EXENS Exosens becoming the 2nd largest shareholder. Just under the XX% mark to keep under regulatory hurdles. Exosens (or specifically their subsidiary Photonis) is the only scaled company in Europe making new gen image intensifier tubes which are the main tech parts of Night Vision goggles. Theon has +50% market share in Night Vision goggles in Europe. Strategically these two could have almost monopolistic position in the sector. Or maybe Theon wants to protect their supplier from bigger players (buy outs etc) and have a say in future decisions. Remains to be seen"
