"Yesterday NFTSweeps launched. Its a lottery site for Strategy NFTs. My first thought: the last thing we need in crypto is another gambling platform. I applaud that people are building on top of Strategies but this just doesnt make sense. A flywheel on top of a flywheel just leaks value. XX% of the ticket sales are used for the sweepstakes pool. To take the Punk as an example: PunkStrategy has it listed for XXXXX ETH. Effectively the participants are paying XXXXX ETH for it. Thats a XX% premium.
