"Regarding the recent price drop I believe it was due to liquidity pooling. During the price surge several secondary pools were created likely with prices below the main pool. Depending on the token purchase application some purchases were directed to these lower-cost pools while sales were directed to the main pool with the higher selling price. As sales volume increased the main pool weakened relative to market capitalization (MC) and we know that lower liquidity leads to greater price fluctuations. This generated a cascading effect of stop-loss orders and temporary fear due to volatility."
