"Net gold & jewellery imports of $12 billion in Jan is extremely worrying (it was just $2bn in Jan 2025). OTOH. pretty insane numbers for net service exports - $24bn in Jan compared to a monthly run-rate of $18bn What the heck is going on (I know these are prelim figs but Exports holding up pretty well one should say.
