In the 7yrs of Luxon's tenure at ANZ the company made a profit every year & SH value increased by 300%. Net debt in mid 2019 was $2.52B. Gearing ratio was 54.6%. Operating revenue was $5.8B with a net profit of $270M. You probably won't understand a lot of this but it means ANZ was in very sound financial shape when Luxon left"
