"We have a $XX Trillion debt and a $1.6T deficit which is not sustainable. Payments on that debt have ballooned since Covid and for 2025 the interest alone on that debt is $942B-$1.16T. Only Medicare and Social Security outlays are higher than just the interest we're paying on the debt. Within a few years the interest will become the largest expense in the US budget and will eclipse every social welfare program. In addition the Social Security program will be insolvent by 2035. How is AIDs in their country our problem and should we prioritize these people above those struggling here in the US"
