I have switched to open book exams post COVID (well they can bring a cheap sheet). Most students don't realize it doesn't really help them lol
Only a few students every year realize and tell me "so the questions will be harder?" To which I say "obviously"
For many students, the chewy sheet likely hurts them because they think they don't need to review
