Been watching this decentralized computing wave for a minute and ngl, I think we're finally at the inflection point. Old model of big tech owning all the server farms? Dead man walking.
We're about to flip the whole script on how the internet actually works.
What's wild is we've all got compute power just sitting around doing nothing. Your phone, laptop, gaming rig - all that processing just wasted when you're not using it.
@theblessnetwork is basically saying "what if we used all that instead of building more data centers?"
The numbers are actually insane. Decentralized cloud is projected to hit $4T in volume by 2025. That's XX% of centralized exchange volumes.
Meanwhile DeFi TVL heading to $200B by EOY
We're not talking about some fringe tech experiment anymore.
When you can crowdsource GPU power and make AI accessible to smaller players instead of just the giants, you're fundamentally changing who controls the future.
So here's my take: whoever builds the infrastructure for decentralized compute wins the next decade.
Not just for gains (though those will be there) but because we're literally deciding if the next internet is owned by us or by the same X companies.
Choose wisely chads.
