Hamas were firing tens of thousands of rockets into Israel for years while people like you said absolutely nothing. I can't imagine why Israel would be cautious about what was allowed into the place. The Palestinians had every opportunity to turn Gaza into Dubai or Singapore, but instead they chose killing Jews and turned it into a shithole. All the while their Useful Idiots in the West, such as yourself, looked the other way.
