This place is wild.
This tweet sparked a great debate, multiple articles in the media, lots of disagreement. Plenty of hate.
The funny thing? It was fired off in a series of tweets stating that I was sharing the opinions of others on my show, not my own. I don’t think bitcoin has been “co-opted” but rather is now popular with the very entities it was created to rage against.
Further, co-opted may have been poor wording. I certainly didn’t mean the code - I meant the narrative.
At least it made for a good debate.
